Concrete Dos & Don’ts

Congratulations on your new concrete!

Below are some things you need to know about your newly poured patio or driveway.

• NO walking on it for 24-36 hours
• NO driving on it for 7 days with standard vehicles / 10 days for heavier utility vehicles
• NO sweeping the concrete with a broom. If necessary, you can use a blower
• NO washing or staining the concrete for 30 days
• NO washing vehicles on it for 30 days. Try and avoid any other chemicals as well
• NO landscaping or back filling dirt around the edges for 7-10 days. Red dirt will stain the concrete
